Bay Area Milestone LLC is a California limited liability company headquartered in San Jose, Santa Clara County, California. We provide managed information technology services to businesses, including managed IT support, cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure, networking, backup and disaster recovery, and IT strategy.
This policy applies to information we collect through the Site and in the ordinary course of marketing and selling our services. It does not change the terms of any separate service agreement (such as a Master Services Agreement or Data Processing Agreement) you may have with us, which governs how we handle data we process on your behalf as your IT provider.

06 Client data we process as a service provider
As a managed IT services provider, we may have access to systems and data belonging to our clients in the course of delivering services. When we handle data on behalf of a client, we act as a service provider and process that data only as instructed by the client and as set out in the applicable service agreement.
The client remains responsible for the information within its systems and for ensuring it has the appropriate rights and notices in place. If you are an employee, customer, or contact of one of our clients, please direct privacy questions about your data to that organization, which controls how it is used.
07 Data security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures are appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved.

08 Data retention

11 Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12 Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. This policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
